What is a COT on-site recruiting event, and what will I be expected to do?
A COT on-site recruiting event is an opportunity for you to learn more about the job of a COT and for us to meet with candidates to assess whether you would be a good fit for our Department.
Candidates will be asked to participate in the following activities:
- Fingerprinting
• Background Check
• Drug Screening
• Medical Examination
• Physical Ability Assessment

What should I wear, and what should I bring to the COT on-site recruitment event?
- Candidates are asked to avoid khaki- or tan-colored clothing, as these are the colors of the Department’s inmate uniforms.
• All you need is your driver’s license & completed state application.
• Lunch will be provided.
