What time should I arrive for the hiring event?

• If you are interested in the COT position, please arrive before 7 a.m.
• If you are interested in the BCO position or any other positions within the ADOC, please arrive between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

What should I wear, and what should I bring to the hiring event?

• Candidates are asked to avoid khaki- or tan-colored clothing, as these are the colors of the Department’s inmate uniforms.
• All you need is your driver’s license & completed state application.

Candidates will be asked to participate in the following activities:

• Background Check
• Drug Screening
• Law Enforcement Services Division Interview
• Personal Document Review
• Fingerprinting**
